It is with a sad and heavy heart that we announced today that our 9/11 Memorial BBQ will NOT be held this year. we hope everybody continues to remember on their own this year. And hopefully we'll be back next year.
A message from Anthony:
We had a damn good run. Everybody that was involved should be proud as hell. I know I've been proud as hell to have known you and to have had your help and your support. I thank everybody that has gone on to help me make my dream a reality for the last 12 years. I would like to thank everybody that I got to become friends with, the ones that are here and the ones that have passed away, you have changed lives. I'd like to thank everybody for all the good that we've been able to accomplish through each other. I'd like to I thank everybody that has participated, it allowed us to raise huge amounts of money for a lot of charitable causes. I can never thank you guys enough for what you've done. I hope everybody will take their time on that weekend and remember us as well.
We stood tall and we remembered.
Never let lives lost defending our freedoms be forgotten and forever and always hold those lives taken from us in their highest honor.
We will take a life changing event and use it to change a life. We will use tragedy to strengthen our spirit.
We will never forget. We will always Stand Tall and Remember.

We will be answering questions as we get them here to help.
Q: What kind of food is available for the public?
A: We will be making a few things that will be available a la carte...There will be a $10 Fan favorite sampling wristband (as supplies last) that will allow sampling from the competitors as well
Q: What types of smokers are allowed?
A: Whatever kind you want just know there is no power available and no digging holes. You are allowed to being your own generator for power.
Q: Is there power on site to use for our pellet smoker.
A: You can use a pellet smoker but we will NOT be supplying power you can bring your own generator for power.
Q: How much are we making and where do we get the meat?
A: There will be 9 racks of ribs
1 beef brisket about 15#
1 pork butt about 20#
All of this we will be supplying to you at the cooks meating and the cost is covered with the $100 per category.
Q:Do we get to rub and marinate the meats ahead of time?
A: Unfortunately this year we will not be able to offer early pickup of meats so you will just have from the time of setup until turn in time to do what you need.
Q: How much of each product do we give the judges and how many judges are there?
A: There will be a panel of six judges that are still being determined and a general serving size of 3-4oz per judge is required. We will be giving boxes out at the cooks meting on friday.
